Christmas Jumper Day at Netbiz – Save The Children
Christmas Jumper Day at NetBiz - Save The Children12th December 2014 -
Netbiz Group have participated in the National Christmas Jumper Day to support Save the Children. For one day only, the Government are matching every £1 donated by the public – so every member of staff donating £2 has raised £84 for Save the Children.
A Festive Team Netbiz
In true festive spirit, we had a variety of jumpers with sparkles, Christmas trees, polar bears, elves, hand-made festive scenery and of course the novelty lights and musical items that push Christmas cheer to the extreme. The Netbiz team can be seen above, outside our Newcastle-under-Lyme premises, awaiting the Christmas Jumper competition.
Christmas Competition Winners
After a delicious Christmas buffet contributed to by several staff (we decided to make the most of the day and have a pre-Christmas do Christmas party!), the votes were cast and the decisions made. Ryan’s creative home-made Christmas jumper came in at a comfortable first place (well done Mrs Yates!), with Carl’s illuminated Christmas pudding in second place, and Tom the Sales Elf in third. The prizes are as follows:
- An overnight stay in a modern Manchester apartment
- A bottle of champage
- A box of luxury chocolates
And the wonderfully wintery winners can be seen below in ranking order (left to right):
The competition was of course followed by a few games of table tennis and discussions of next week’s Christmas do, Secret Santa and general festivities.
If you’re interested in donating to Save the Children, you can text TEAMNETBIZ to 70050 to give £2, and remember that your £2 will be doubled for today only! Only £3 can save the lives of eight children with diarrhea – the price of a cup of coffee.
