Full Stack PHP Web Developer
Hey! We’re Netbiz Group, a digital agency based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
We’re looking for an experienced full stack PHP developer to join our growing studio team. If you’ve got an enthusiasm for what you do and are passionate about web development, we’d love to hear from you!
We’ll need you to:
- Have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL
- Have implemented WordPress or Opencart sites, including developing custom plugins for the platforms
- Have a good understanding of securely integrating databases into a back-end
- Have a willingness to dive into platforms and code-bases you might not be used to
- Have an understanding of technical SEO and site optimization, and the techniques that can be used to make our client’s websites perform better on search engines
- Develop with accessibility in mind
- Develop modular code and components that can be easily reused
Bonus points if you:
- Have worked with a modern PHP framework, like Laravel, Codeigniter 4 or Symfony
- Have a good understanding of programming design patterns and SOLID principles
- Have an understanding of front-end frameworks

You’ll be joining our studio team, working alongside a talented team of developers, designers and server engineers.
