Netbiz Donates a Website to the HUBB Foundation
We've donated a new website to a brilliant cause, helping children and families in the local area.15th March 2019 -
Netbiz Group has proudly donated a website to a community initiative that seeks to improve the lives of families living in and around Stoke on Trent.
Building on the success of Ay Up Duck, the HUBB Foundation, which is being supported by other local businesses such as Synectic Solutions and local MP’s, presents initiatives to tackle inequality for struggling Stoke on Trent families by providing children with fun activities and nourishing meals during the school holidays.
The new site is the latest branch of Netbiz Group’s community outreach programme, which has included working on the extremely successful Ay Up Duck site for the Port Vale FC Foundation, another project that offers activities to cure summer holiday boredom.
The new website allows the foundation to share updates about upcoming events and past projects as well as offering an online point of contact that makes it easier for people to inquire about their services in the future. Spreading awareness about the project was hugely important and the whole team is delighted to have been able to make this possible.
The HUBB Foundation held a launch event recently at the Bet 365 Stadium, attended by Netbiz MD Ryan Yates and a host of other local businesses keen to support. The foundation founder, Carol Shanahan, commented,
“Thanks ever so much for the website – communication is a key element of our work moving forward. If people don’t know the support is there they can’t access it. Support for us is also essential, there’s more to do than the Hubb team can manage alone.”
Ryan Yates, Managing Director at Netbiz Group also commented,
“It’s been a pleasure to work with the HUBB Foundation and provide a website. Spreading awareness about the project was hugely important and the whole team is delighted to have been able to make this possible.
“The launch event really shows how much our local community wants to come together to give a helping hand to those less fortunate.”
