Dave’s Charity Run: Two Saints Way Ultra Marathon
Dave's Charity Run: Two Saints Way Ultra Marathon30th May 2017 -
This June our technical manager, Dave, will be attempting the formidable Two Saints Way (Ultra Marathon) Challenge, raising funds for the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice Trust. The Two Saints Way Challenge is no ordinary marathon – it’s a gruelling two-day event that will see Dave run (and sometimes walk!) a 92-mile course from Chester to Lichfield. This is the most ambitious challenge that he has attempted since he first started running four years ago, and we’re proud that he has chosen to support such a fantastic local charity.
‘I’ve come a long way in four years, and this is the biggest challenge I’ve set for myself yet. There are no guarantees I’ll finish, but I’m determined to give it my absolute best.’ – David Farmer.
The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice Trust, based in Stoke on Trent, do brilliant work in our local communities, giving support to families and carers.
