KDM Events are an award winning events management company with over 30 years of experience in the events industry, offering expert event solutions to clients across the UK, and catering to groups from half a dozen up to several thousand.
As part of KDM Events’ plan to increase their client base on a national scale, our challenge was to design and develop a brand new website, combining corporate design with a fun feel to reflect the KDM brand.
We worked closely with KDM Events to create a fully bespoke wordpress website, with user experience at the forefront of its design. We focused on ensuring that the website boasted strong UX features, including calls to action throughout, and a venue finder tool. Additionally, we added strong visual content such as animations, to reflect the fun nature of the KDM Events brand.
In order to extend the potential reach of the new website we focused on SEO optimisation for generic, national search terms.
Key Web Design Services
- Bespoke Web Design
In order to ensure that visitors to the KDM Events website can easily access the full range of services on offer, we decided to split the website into two via the homepage. As a result, the new website now features two sections; Conferences and Meetings, and Team Building and Events.

We adopted a mobile first design to streamline content on the page to ensure that key services and areas are easily accessible on mobile devices.
- Responsive Web Design
The KDM website is fully responsive to ensure a seamless transition between desktop and mobile devices.

As the website is content driven, we decided on WordPress, as this is not only one of the leading CMS platforms available today, but we are also able to include any additional functionalities which are bespoke to the project, and provide the client with full WordPress content management.

Working with KDM Events we integrated a number of bespoke elements to elevate the entire user experience.
While splitting the website into two new sections was a clear challenge, it has added to the success of the new website in terms of the user friendliness and experience.
The new website acts as an easy to use, interactive platform through which visitors can access service information easily.
