Apprenticeships Lead to Business College Partnership
Apprenticeships Lead to Business College Partnership4th October 2013 -
With a head office in Derby, and a training centre in Stoke-on-Trent, Babington Business College was bound to come into contact with Netbiz Group at some point, due to the geographical areas we operate in.
The relationship between the two organisations began over two decades ago when Netbiz Account Manager Susan Fingleton attended the college as an apprentice herself. Fast-forward to 2012/2013 and the partnership continues with financial and account apprentices Chris Plant and Lucy Jepson.
Already aware of the array of services Netbiz Group provides, Babington approached us in June 2013 to work with them on their new website.
Only a few obstacles/challenges faced the trusty Netbiz team; tight deadlines, responsive requirements, integrating an e-learning platform and making it able to process bookings for courses online.
With metaphorical sleeves rolled up, Team Netbiz got stuck in and created a beautiful bespoke website that looks aesthetically sleek and functions smoothly on all pc, mobile and tablet devices.
With a deadline looming, it was imperative the site was completed before the influx of new and potential students in the important August/September timeframe. Successfully completed in time, the site is live at www.babington.co.uk.
Digital Consultant for Bridges Ventures (who help drive and finance the college’s online enterprises), Julie Fawcett, was more than pleased with the results,
“It has been a pleasure working with Netbiz and I will definitely keep them on my tender list for future contracts.”
This is without doubt a project we are proud of, as it is representative of the Netbiz Group ethos of creating different solutions to tailor clients varying requirements.
